My dad, Edgar Barney, is the father of 10 kids, grandfather of 16 and great grandfather to 6. He is an amazing dad. He worked so hard to provide for his family and still found time to make sure we had fun and knew he supported us as well. At 74 years old, he is still very active and kicking. However, he does take medication for high blood pressure, suffers from too much iron production in his blood, and has lately begun to 'lose time' every once in a while. We are all so scared and nervous for him right now. He left his home Monday afternoon and hasn't been seen or heard from since then. The local police are investigating the matter and doing all they can. My brother-in-law in Utah is driving to California tomorrow to organize a search party and I am urging anyone who is in the area or knows someone in the area who might help to contact me as soon as possible.
